LYRASIS is seeking an Outreach and Engagement Coordinator who will be responsible for successfully leading clients through the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business process - from developing new leads through to full contract execution. This position will also manage the renewal process for existing clientsconduct ongoing account management activities, develop marketing and outreach initiatives, and coordinate implementation and service delivery efforts with the hosted services technical team. This role is highly collaborative, working directly with clients and LYRASIS technical team members to ensure smooth and timely account transitions and overall client satisfaction is achieved. 

The Outreach and Engagement Coordinator will be working as part of an outreach team to support our suite of hosted services, ArchivesSpaceCollectionSpaceDSpaceDirectDuraCloudIslandora, and Library Simplified/SimplyE services. 

Duties/Job Responsibilities: 

  • Execute the hosted service outreach process with new clients, from initial inquiry through contract completion. 
  • Manage complex, consultative interviews to determine client's needs and deliver itemized quotes based on consultation.
  • Collaborate with multiple points of contact at an institution in order to ensure mutual contract and procurement needs are met.
  • Introduce clients to technology, providing introductory walkthroughs tailored to the needs of each organization.
  • Effectively communicate on-board status, observations, and needs prioritization to appropriate team members. 
  • Ensure effective communication is provided to all clients. Serve as the central project liaison with external partners and internal teams.
  • Develop thorough, detailed, and clear written documents in response to requests for proposals and requests for quotations, as needed.
  • Make presentations and attend conferences/in-person events, as needed.
  • Other project-related duties as assigned.

    Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • 3years of related client-facing work experience. 
  • Experience using archive/library
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects with a high level of proficiency and attention to detail with proactive communication in order accomplish goals on time. 
  • Experience presenting in-person and via remote technology (such as Zoom, Skype, WebEx, etc.) 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and website editors or content management programs.
  • Ability to learn new software, such as Zendesk, Basecamp, Confluence, etc.
  •  Preferred

  • Familiarity with ArchivesSpaceCollectionSpaceDSpaceDirectDuraCloudIslandora, Library Simplified/SimplyE or other archival, collection management, and/or e-book and e-audiobook distributor systems. 
  • Master's Degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • 5+ years of related client-facing work experience.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and direct experience managing large projects involving large teams.
  • Experience working in a library, archive, or 
  • Experience working in a remote position.
